My Birth Philosophy

I believe every woman deserves to be treated with compassion and respect during this transformative season of life. Unfortunately, most women are left feeling afraid, manipulated, dismissed, and worse. That is not how birth is meant to be.

My calling is to provide education and support through a holistic model by focusing on nutrition, preventative testing, physical readiness, baby positioning, and mental preparation.

My own births have prepared me for a variety of experiences. My first baby was breech and while desiring a natural birth, ended in a c-section. My second was a redemptive home birth vbac, which filled me with euphoria. My third baby was another amazing home birth vbac that taught me trust and confidence.

Along the way I have learned a tremendous amount about how the mind, body and spirit evolve in pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

I would be a good match:

  • If you are wanting an empowered pregnancy and birth experience

  • If you believe birth is a natural function and an ancestral rite of passage

  • If you are planning a VBAC or Homebirth

  • If you experienced previous birth trauma and need emotional support in working through fear and disappointment to obtain a redemptive birth

  • If you have experienced loss or infertility and need reassurance to build confidence and joy in your current pregnancy
